Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year! John 1:1-18 is a favorite account of the Christmas story. The NT Greek translation of the Word is "Logos" -- my meditation for the day.

This more or less works as metaphor, which now allows my early childhood beliefs, attendance at St. Mary's College (Great Books), my career as a marine scientist and my pursuit of art as a fulfilling life pursuit to all live in harmony. I understand that the literal belief in the resurrection as a social adhesive providing group survival value. It has deep psychological resonance. Beautiful family you have. Merry Christmas.
