I owned my mistake, and what it taught me about grace for myself and others.
As a plebe at West Point so many years ago, we were given only 4 answers to a question by an upper classman: 1) Yes Sir, 2) No Sir, 3) Sir, I do not understand, and 4) No excuse sir. This has served me well over the past 50 and so many more years.
