Gracious Reader,
Celebrating the launch of my book in New York City was an incredible experience, surrounded by the warmth and support of more than a hundred friends and supporters from all corners of the globe.
Our week began on an exciting note with the recording of my audiobook in a bustling studio, and I had the privilege of hosting the Civility Summit 2023. This summit brought together thirteen exceptional speakers including Jonathan Haidt, Tyler Cowen, George Will, Francis Fukuyama, and Mitch Daniels, who engaged in meaningful discussions about the significance of understanding and embracing genuine civility. We enjoyed this event so much that we're already eagerly anticipating next year's gathering.
On the evening preceding the book launch, we had the pleasure of dining with prominent figures in the media world at Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steakhouse. Launch day itself included dinner with Young Voices, followed by a live recording of Reason Speakeasy with Nick Gillespie. This event, held at the Blue Building and co-sponsored by Young Voices and The Reason Foundation, was an engaging highlight.
Throughout the week, I had the privilege of engaging in enlightening discussions about my book with several podcast hosts. I spoke with Richard Davies, Dave Allen, Pauline Frommer, Andrew Keen at Keen On, Lisa Kennedy from Kennedy Saves The World, and Richard Aldous from American Purpose Podcast Recording. I'll be sharing the links to these discussions as they become available. Each of these hosts is exceptional in their own right and is well worth exploring if you haven't already done so.
