And how is his family working to keep his legacy alive today?
Discover all this and more today at our conversation LIVE from Tocqueville’s historic castle at 1pm EST.
I hope you’ll join us!
And stay tuned for a very special CR Subscribers-only event in the second half of August. Subscribe now to be the first to be notified about this exciting event in August!
When visiting America, Tocqueville observed that regimes, such as democracies, were not supported by institutions alone. Equally as important is the virtue, norms, and habits of individuals citizens. He wrote,
The health of a democratic society may be measured by the quality of functions performed by private citizens.
I hope that this event can inspire and remind us of the great promise our democratic and American way of life holds—and the role we each have to sustain it.
Feel free to register and share this invitation, even if you’re not able to make the time. All registrants will receive a copy of the recording.
Looking forward to seeing you today!
